Innovative Approaches to Covid-19 Disinfection Protocols

Last week part of IWC team had a chance to visit the Las Vegas Springs Preserve. IWC was invited as part of the extensive Covid-19 reopening plan the staff has put into place.

The Springs Preserve contains 180 acres and is a cultural institution designed to commemorate Las Vegas’ dynamic history and provide a vision for a sustainable future. The Preserve features museums, galleries, outdoor concerts and events, colorful botanical gardens and an interpretive trail system that meanders through a scenic wetland habitat. Cleaning for coronavirus and protecting visitors from Covid-19 is a top priority for the Springs Preserve team. The team knows there is no easy answer in protecting visitors, but they have spent months researching the best way to disinfect, clean and validate their efforts.
