Water Treatment Process Steps

Water Treatment Process Steps

Customarily extensive planning goes into designing, installing and maintaining your facility’s water treatment systems.  Budgets are formed to plan for the greatest state-of-the-art equipment.  Key stakeholders in the company debate and discuss needs and wants for their water treatment systems.  Vendors are called out to develop a detailed plan for design, protection and installation.  Equipment is purchased, set up and affixed to all facility systems.  Backs are patted, stress is diminished and to do lists are checked.

Unfortunately, not enough additional thought goes into the maintenance and treatment of those expensive investments. Equipment begins to deteriorate, operational problems begin, and system longevity is jeopardized.  Industrial water, used for heating, cooling, washing, rinsing and other facility processes must be treated and serviced properly in order to protect investments in expensive systems.  If proper treatment is not completed, mineral deposits, bacteria and impurities negatively affect system processing quality, thus reducing the efficiency and operating life of boilers, cooling towers, filtration systems and other equipment.

No two systems are alike.  Detailed water treatment solutions must be developed to meet your facility’s individual needs.  Plans need to be orchestrated to complete pre-treatment, primary demineralization, polishing, and wastewater processing.  The knowledge of water treatment chemistries and the stages of water purity levels must be studied and understood.  Constant monitoring of water quality parameters is crucial.  Precise chemistries and monitoring are needed to maintain equipment reliability and unscheduled shutdown which can contribute to high unintended costs.

Complex water treatment process steps require hiring experts that have years of water treatment professional knowledge, experience with the latest and most environmentally safe water chemistries, and reliable scheduled follow up.  It is imperative to seek help from water treatment professionals to reduce costs, keep your systems free of contaminants and lengthen the lifespan of your investment/equipment.
